Brian was great. My garbage disposal was leaking. He took care of business. I was very happy that he had the new garbage disposal on the truck and was able to replace it in a timely manner.

John explained everything so thoroughly (electrical panel work), everything he needed to do and where and why, he spent over an hour explaining each detail, a lot that I didn't know about. The estimate was a little lower than my other estimate. Because of his wonderful knowledge and ability to explain, I am going with Mac-Vic for the project. .....Now the project is finished ( circuit breaker panel moved, plus two new outlets). I was most impressed with John's thoroughness and care. He took the time to think and consider the best way to address the multiple challenges presented with a 1927 house. He was always happy to explain what he was doing. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and personable. I felt my house was in good hands. Update 11/24: I needed similar (but lesser) work done in garage. John is not only knowledgeable but also personable, able to explain what he is doing - and tough enough to come on a very cold and snowy day to work cheerfully for hours in an unheated garage even though I offered to postpone the appointment. He even quickly shoveled the sidewalk. July 2025: Very old outside faucet suddenly wouldn't turn off, water gushing! Had to turn off main water valve. Tristan arrived in about 3 hours, cheerful, new faucet, pointed out something else that needs minor fixing that they don't do. I'm happy. July 2025: A few days later, new faucet failed. Andre appeared within an hour, very nice personality, had a part in his truck and fixed it quickly, works now, no charge. He said that sometimes a new part is defective. Sept 2026: Needed new electric outlet and redo of an old outlet. Very quick appointment, just a day or two. Jacob knew his stuff, explained, made perfect suggestion for location. Explained lack of ground in 1927 house. Very personable and great to work with.

Jorge over at Mac-Vik has worked with me on HVAC projects on several occasions over the years now. He is always punctual, friendly, communicative, and has great follow up. He is a pleasure to work with and I appreciate that he advocates for us as customers.
